About us

S.H.B.V. Sagittarius is the archery association of the University of Twente and of Saxion.
With about 30 members we shoot twice a week our arrows at the targets, either inside the sportscentre or at our range outside on which we can shoot till 90 meters.

The association was founded in the early 70’s and is therefore one of the oldest sports associations of the university. After shooting in the basement of the building Langezijds, where we had our own range with bar, we moved to the sportscentre after Langezijds was closed.

Though many of our members are Dutch, we also have members come from around the whole world. Many of our members are also competitively active with archery.
